NAPCC is a continent-wide collaborative formed to advance the safe, early, and confident use of CPAP in children experiencing respiratory distress in the pre-hospital setting. Through shared education, standardized protocols, equipment readiness, and real case-based learning, NAPCC helps EMS providers intervene earlier, before a compensating child “falls off the cliff.”

NAPCC was born from a single question, “Why not?” that challenged outdated thinking and opened the door to pre-hospital/911 pediatric CPAP care.

To ensure every pre-hospital/911 EMS provider in North America has the training, clarity, and confidence to deliver pediatric CPAP early, long before a child deteriorates into respiratory failure.
We provide national training webinars with leading physicians, educators, and veteran medics, along with case-based teaching modules that walk through real scenarios such as the grunting infant, drowning events, and increased work of breathing in young children. Our team offers hands-on CPAP competency sessions, a continent-wide model protocol, sizing charts, mask-selection guidance, equipment adaptation tips, and a collaborative support network for agencies adopting pediatric CPAP.
